Group Operations & Production Manager

We are recruiting a Group Operations & Production Manager to work for an established Digital Design & Marketing agency in the Watford & Pinner area. This is not a hybrid role.
This role reports into the two Managing Directors. You will ideally be from the digital media sector, you love the sector, or you will be an amazing Operations Manager who is well organised in laying down streamlined structure across two brands, one brand is a digital agency the other is a web development agency that produces high end e-commerce websites.
The primary purpose of the role:
- To manage and supervise the operations, production and support activities that facilitate the smooth running of businesses.
- To ensure that services are produced effectively and efficiently, to the satisfaction of the customer on time and budget.
- To liaise with the directors and coordinate activity between clients, suppliers, design and development teams.
Day to day operations
- Be the eyes & ears of the company.
- Manage & implement the team building initiatives.
- Manage teams, the family design project management team.
- Some client interaction.
No need for hands on technical skills, however, coming from the digital sector from an operational or account management perspective is a plus as you will already have a sense of what is expected, the culture and dynamics that makes a digital firm tick.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Motivate, develop and manage direct reports
- Oversee, maintain excellent relationships with clients and supply a high level of customer service at all times.
- Ensure final job briefs are clear and complete, and pricing is agreed.
- Oversight of delivery, production and project management of individual project plans, including communication to clients, design and development teams.
- Management of the design team and liaison with development teams to ensure jobs are produced smoothly on-time and on-budget.
- Manage complex client and support queries via support ticketing system.
- Briefing of support requirements to the development team via support ticket system & Development Director.
- Manage client expectations ensuring clients are regularly kept up-to-date with progress on their projects including coordination of testing with Clients.
- Supporting scheduling and diary management for the two Managing Directors.
- Assist with finance, including coordination with the finance team.
- Monitor and report company KPIs.
