As an IT Account Manager, no one day will be the same, but some of your key responsibilities will be:

Solutions sold to a growing account of 2.5k are not limited to IT/Connectivity, Cyber security,

Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with the client base.

Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships to drive customer retention and revenue growth.

Understanding client needs to recommend solutions that align with their business goals.

Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presenting to negotiating and closing deals.

Collaborating with marketing and service delivery teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Staying updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Accurately tracking and reporting on sales activities and pipeline progress.

To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5 years experience of sales or account management within the managed services industry. A consultative approach to sales and strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build lasting client relationships. A solid understanding of contracts, recurring revenue models, and delivering value through tailored IT solutions is crucial. We are looking for someone who thrives in a smaller business environment, where resourcefulness and independence are key.

Candidates should have a hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to navigate challenges without relying on extensive support structures. Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Autotask, Kaseya, Ability, and other quoting platforms is required. Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset are essential for this role.
Salary And Benefits

The salary for this role is dependent on your previous experience but ranges from £40,000 to £60,000 per year, with uncapped commission. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from our offices and remotely; however you will be expected to travel to customer sites on scheduled meetings.
